If there is one thing that we learn from life, it is this: "Real success never comes overnight".

This is a basic, almost cliched statement, yet this is the basic fact that most people often forget when it comes to acquiring basic language skills.

In India, this mentality was often exploited by shrewd businesses that give out dubious claims of quick improvement through IELTS crashes courses, short term Spoken English courses and children's vacation programmes that promises the sky.

As tutor-educators, we felt disappointed. In places we worked, it was hard not to see the fact that the students hardly made a headway. Although, we completed course-after-course, we realised that these were mere money making schemes that hardly made a lasting impact on the students.

This realisation finally led to English Quest Education. Over time, we have taught in hundreds of school students, teenagers, youth and adults. With this experience, we formulated the three golden values which have now become the cornerstone of what English Quest is today. The three core values which form our mission are:

  • Emphasis on Learning strategy: All our learning programmes utilize established scientific learning methods, are designed by tutors and are focussed on the learner. We believe that animations, and other visual gimmicks can no way replace a good tutor with a piece of chalk.

  • Ethical practices: We believe that trust is essential in building strong long-term relationships with clients. Our marketing does not involve coercive and manipulative tactics and all our promises would be realistic. Our educational activities should address real social issues, and our paid programmes should subsidize free ones.

  • Aim for long term success. Don't focus on short-term course with unrealistic goals. Focus on making small, step-by-step improvements in the life of a student, and then guide them in making it a lifelong habit.
